林書豪在13日傷癒歸隊，客場出戰火箭替補上陣拿下10分3籃板7助攻，不過籃網最終以118比122不敵火箭。
賽後林書豪表示自己還在調整中：「我的狀況比我想像中好很多，但是我還沒有找到比賽的節奏，還有投籃的感覺也完全不對。」
「我在練習的時候感覺很不錯，但比賽時出手的感覺就好像在投美式足球一樣。」林書豪此役罰球僅4罰1中，三分球投中3中1，終場前18秒還投出籃外空心，顯然狀況有待調整。
不過籃網總教練Kenny Atkinson倒是很滿意林書豪的表現：「通常球員傷癒歸隊你會預期他的身手有些生疏，但他完全沒有，他充滿幹勁、打得很好，為球隊帶來非常高的能量。」
同時Atkinson也對於球隊的表現讚譽有加，認為即使輸了球隊依然打出具有競爭性的球賽內容：「他們（火箭）在關鍵時刻投進了一些球，我們沒有，但我很滿意球隊在上一場慘敗後打出觸底反彈的表現。」籃網前役以101比130慘敗給馬刺。
另外林書豪賽後也在個人社群媒體中表示非常開心也很感激能夠回到球場比賽，也打趣地叫大家別再嘮叨了，他知道他該剪頭髮了。
